Let's be honest. Alcohol has been around for ages. I mean it is in the Bible. So when does alcohol becomes a problem?
When you go to the doctor one of the main questions they ask is, "How many alcoholic beverages do you consume in a day?" I lie. At least I used to. One thing people need to understand is the title. Alcoholic. I do not believe someone who has six drinks a day is comparable to someone who wakes up and drinks until it's time for bed. In a physicians mind though; both of these could be labeled "alcoholic" based on weight and age. Where I stand, you choose to label yourself and you only do this when you realize, "Yeah. I have a problem."
I went years drinking. Started with a few after work and low and behold, I can finish a twelve pack before 9pm. That means a case every two days. And if it's a long weekend, you're damn right I can take down about thirty-six of those Busch Lattes. Pretty cool. At least that's what my brain told me.
I am a long way from being "okay". That is why I am starting this blog.
Cannot wait to keep on sharing why I named this page the way I did.
